Law Students’ Social Media Challenge: The Winner Has Emerged!

Date:

“Contribute a little, it doesn’t look much but it’s sure worth something to someone. Together we can change the world.”  – Stephen Magnus

As a pro youth establishment, DNL Legal & Style birthed an idea aimed at encouraging meaningful  and intellectually beneficial use of social media by youths and more particularly law students; “The Social Media Challenge.”

The maiden edition of the competition ran through the month of June, 2017 and a number of students from law faculties all over Nigeria submitted entries on the  topic  “Why I am Studying to be a Lawyer”

At the end of the challenge, Samuel Irusote Eromosele, a 300 Level Law Student of Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma emerged winner.

The long term objective is to grow a community of young adults and lunch more challenging activities that would draw them towards a more profitable use of the internet for intellectual growth and healthy networking.

Ours is an initiative that would encourage attitudinal change because “each of us is a unique strand in the intricate web of life and here to make our own little contribution.”
