NBA Data Protection Committee Launches Survey on Election Campaign Practices

Date:

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Data Protection Committee has launched a short survey aimed at gathering members’ views on the use of direct marketing, including unsolicited campaign messages and calls, during NBA elections at both national and branch levels.

This initiative reflects the Committee’s commitment to promoting voter privacy, enhancing data security, and ensuring fairness and transparency in the Association’s electoral processes. The survey also supports ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws.

All NBA members are encouraged to participate in the survey, which takes less than five minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous, and the feedback collected will be instrumental in shaping more ethical campaign practices.
