NBA Ikeja Investiture and Fund Raising Ceremony to Hold March 17

The Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch shall tomorrow 17 March 2020 hold a ceremony for the investiture of some of their worthy senior members as patrons of the noble branch. Eight legal practitioners, 7 Senior Advocates of Nigeria and one senior female member of the outer bar, have been appointed by the branch as patrons in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the development of the branch. Also to be honoured are 15 worthy members, including Senior Advocates of Nigeria, for their contributions as pillars of support for the branch.

The event will double as a fund raising ceremony as well. The Excellent branch is raising funds for the completion of its multi-million naira Bar Centre. The Centre which is a 2-storey plus a pent floor building comprises 1,200 seater hall, a cloak room, robing/changing rooms for male and female counsel, a library, a relaxation room, a conference room and rooms for office accommodation. The completion of the building is a top priority for the present Prince Dele Oloke led Executive Committee. The branch has invited legal titans within and outside Ikeja branch for generous donations to this cause. Also specially invited are the heads of the three arms of Lagos State Government as well as captains of industry.

The ceremony which starts at 10 am prompt at the Bar Centre, High Court premises, Ikeja is expected to be attended by every member of the branch including past officers, elders and junior counsel.
