NBA JALINGO MOURNS THE DEATH OF HER MEMBER

Date:

A very sad day it is for the Chairman as well as the entire members of the Jalingo Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association as the body lost one of its limelight, Bar Josiah Micah Jogamis whose demise took place yesterday the 17th June, 2025 at around 10:00 pm. So painful it is for the Bar for he was at the High Court of Justice, Jalingo, yesterday to attend to his cases before this shocking news.

Bar Josiah until his death was the Principal/Consultant, M.G Josiah and Associates. He was a product of the University of Maiduguri which he attended from 1997 to 2002. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Enugu campus from 2004 to 2005. He had his Youth Service at the Ministry of Justice, Gusau, Zamfara State from 2003 to 2004. He began his law practice with the law firm of Aorabee, Galumje and Co, Jalingo from 2005-2006. He later became the Managing Attorney of EL-Nyaro and Co, Jalingo, Taraba State from 2007-2008 before establishing his own firm known as M.G Josiah and Associates in Jalingo, Taraba State from 2008 till date. He equally was a lecturer with the Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai Taraba State.

Josiah was a very perfect gentleman, intelligent lawyer and a humble one to that matter. A Bar man you would call him for he was the Publicity Secretary of the Bar. The death is a big blow for the entire Bar and mostly to his call mates as Justice Joel Dan-Ubandoma High Chief Damba Mbanaso Esq, Magistrate Arisim Moses Magistrate Yazidu Aliyu rtd to mention but a few.

The entire Bar will surely miss him. Goodnight learned Counsel till we meet at the Lord’s feet.
