NBA PRESIDENT COMMISERATES WITH IKEJA BRANCH ON THE DEMISE OF FORMER CHAIRMAN, MR YINKA FAROUNBI

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, has expressed shock and sadness over the demise of Mr. Yinka Farounbi, former Chairman of the NBA Ikeja Branch.

The NBA President described Mr Farounbi as a distinguished bar man and a complete gentleman who was well respected by many who came across him. While recalling late Farounbi’s amiable personality, Mr. Maikyau said he struck a friendship with him at their first ever meeting. He noted that Mr. Farounbi’s death is a huge loss to his family and the legal profession.

The NBA President therefore prayed that the Almighty God consoles the family and friends of Mr. Farounbi and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
