NBA President’s Son, Israel Maikyau Bags First Class from Covenant University.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Y.C Maikyau,OON, SAN celebrates with friends and family as son, Israel Maikyau graduates with a first class in Computer Science at Covenant University.

Maikyau and his wife were full of joy and pride as they attended their son’s convocation ceremony today at the Covenant University, Ota where their son Israel Danmanya Maikyau graduated with a first class with a CGPA of 4.64.

In attendance to rejoice with the family was the Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the General Secretary of the NBA, Adesina Adegbite, the Welfare Secretary, Chinyere Obasi, the National Assistant Publicity Secretary, Charles Ajiboye, an elder of the bar Nasir Salau and the Chairman Eti-Osa Lawyers Forum Adewale Sanni among others.

The NBA President while delivering a goodwill message on behalf of the NBA commended the manager of the university and urged the Chancellor of the University, Bishop(Dr.) David Oyedepo to introduce the Faculty of Law in the University. In his response, Bishop Oyedepo announced that the building of the Faculty of Law and Medicine structures will commence in the first quarter of the year.
