The Nigerian Bar Association Nsukka branch under the leadership of Sunny Okoro, Esq., was thrown into grief in the early morning of Monday, 31st day of July, 2023 upon the receipt of the shocking news of the passing of one of their leaders , brother, mentor and a legal luminary of rare and enviable standing.
Hon. Justice Nweze who hails from Obollo-Eke was a member and a leader of the bar, whose leadership and positive impact in the branch was magnificent.
In the national space he was an outstanding jurist whose numerous decisions greatly shaped and developed our jurisprudence.
He was a highly disciplined and astute jurist whose demise has left a hollow in the heart of the Nigerian judicial space.
The NBA Nsukka branch consoles with the entire Nigerian judiciary, the government and people of Enugu state, friends and family of the late jurist over his Lordships death and pray that the Almighty Lord will grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
