PRAI Empowers Prisoners With Business Development Skills

Prisoners Right Advocacy Initiative held a 3 day skill acquisition, business development and value reorientation workshop for inmates of the Ikoyi Prison Lagos State.

The workshop which was held between 18th -20th of April drew entrepreneurs and motivational speakers from reputable organizations.

At the end of the workshop the participants acquired skills in event management, hall decoration, snacks(small chops), household products (liquid soap, germicide and disinfectant) leather belt, Ankara belt, Ankara bow tie, Ankara wallet and Ankara Key holders and many others.

One of the organizers of the workshop Mr. Ahmad Adetola Kazeem expressed sincere appreciation to the facilitators of the workshop. He further announced that similar workshop would be held in May at the Kirikiri Female and Medium Prison. He also stated that there is plan to partner with organisations like TCC Academy, Wendy’s Bloom Events and HQ Clothings to employ the inmates after release.
