Tajudeen Adegbenga Elias Confirmed as Chief Registrar of Lagos State High Court

Mr. Tajudeen Adegbenga Elias has been officially confirmed as the Chief Registrar of the High Court of Lagos State, effective January 2, 2025. A seasoned legal professional and alumnus of Lagos State University, Elias has built a distinguished career in both judicial and administrative roles since joining the Lagos State Judiciary in 1999.

His appointment follows a period as Acting Chief Registrar, during which he demonstrated leadership and dedication to judicial excellence. His career highlights include serving as Coroner, Chairman of the Family Court, and Deputy Chief Registrar (Administration).

Mr. Elias has also participated in international judicial training programs in the UK and the U.S., and currently plays a strategic role on several High Court committees, reinforcing his long-standing commitment to the effective administration of justice in Lagos State.
