President Bola Tinubu has forwarded name of Adamu Galumje (JSC) to the Senate for confirmation as Chairman, Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
Tinubu in a letter of request read on the floor of the Senate on Thursday, the nomination Adamu Galumje, is informed by the vacancy created by expiration of tenure and subsequent retirement of the Immediate past chairman of the bureau.
He added that the appointment is Pursuant to section 154 (1) of the 1999 Constitution as Amended.
The request is referred to the senate committee on public petitions for screening consideration of the nominee at committee level.
