Idris Approves N27.5m for Payment of Fees for Kebbi Law School Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-drop-cap\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi has approved the release of N27.5 million for the payment of tuition and registration fees for 38 indigenes of the state in the Nigerian Law School.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The approval is contained in a statement signed by the commissioner for justice, Junaidu Bello-Marshal and issued to journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe 28 Bar Part II students will receive N750,000 each, while the Bar Part I students will get N650,000 each.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201dThe governor\u2019s approval became necessary when the management of the Nigerian Law School increased the fees to N476,000 for Bar Part II and N353,000 for Bar Part I,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr Bello-Marshall thanked the governor for the kind gesture and urged the students to be good ambassadors of the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe gesture of the governor is a fulfilment of his promise to provide quality education for all in the state,\u201d the commissioner said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to source, the last time Kebbi State Government paid for the Nigerian Law School tuition and registration fees for the indigenes of the state was in 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(NAN).<\/p>\n<div class=\"adredux after-para-one aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"adbox\">\n<div class=\"JC-WIDGET-DMROOT\" data-widget-id=\"ca69f5950aba1bbefee2c18f61cc5289\" data-load=\"true\" data-id=\"1706624819113\">\n<div id=\"ac_ca69f5950aba1bbefee2c18f61cc5289\" class=\"jb-w-desktop\" data-id=\"acjb_ca69f5950aba1bbefee2c18f61cc5289\" data-divid=\"acjb_1706624819113\">\n<div class=\"jb-w-r-s-row\">\n<div class=\"jb-w-r-s-columns jb-w-r-s-col-12 jb-ac_header-title-container\">\n<div class=\"ac_header_title\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi has approved the release of N27.5 million for the payment of tuition and registration fees for 38 indigenes of the state in the Nigerian Law School.
