Nigerian Musician Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy is facing a lot of court actions at the moment. Barely one month after a US Court him from performing in the US and Canada for breach of contractual relationship with a Nigerian owned US based company Vibesland Entertainment, LLC, a Nigeria company Insecta Studios Limited has also slammed the Musician with a N20 million suit \u00a0for copyright infringement.<\/p>\n
The US Court had granted \u00a0an injunction restraining Burna Boy from performing at any event venue or any form of recording anywhere in the US and Canada for the time being until Burna Boy Limited settles the promoter for the financial loss \u00a0Vibesland Entertainment, LLC owned by a Nigerian, Niyi Fatogun.,<\/p>\n
In another development, Insecta Limited\u2019s suit is for copyright infringement. In the suit filed today at the Federal High Court Lagos with Suit No. FHC\/CS\/L\/847\/17, the Company alleged that Burna Boy utilized its \u00a0artistic work for commercial gains without its consent. The Company\u2019s reliefs as set out in the writ of summons are<\/p>\n
