The Lagos State Judiciary has been thrown into mourning following the death of a serving judge of the High Court of Lagos State, Hon.Justice Josephine Efunkumbi Oyefeso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her demise was announced in a notice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
released by her family, describing her as a beloved wife, mother, sister, steward, friend and pillar of strength whose kindness and<\/p>\n\n\n\n
warmth touched many lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The notice read: “To the glory of God and with complete submission to the will of God, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and sister, Hon. Justice (Dcns.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Josephine Efunkumbi Oyefeso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“She was a loving wife, mother, sister, steward, friend, and pillar of strength whose kindness and warmth touched many lives.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The family said condolence visits would be received at the family residence strictly on<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The notice, signed by Wole, Tish, Tito and Tami, appreciated the public for their prayers, support and understanding during the difficult period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice Oyefeso was until her death a serving judge of the Lagos State High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members of the legal community have described her passing as a painful loss to the Bench, the Bar and the administration of justice in Lagos State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
