Five Law Students Emerge Winners of the 1st Davidson Oturu Law School Scholarship

Five law graduates have won the first edition of Davidson Oturu Law School Scholarship.

The scholarship covers the students’ tuition, lodging and all other expenses with  a stipend to also assist them in buying books and other materials needed to commence their program at the Law School.

In addition, they will receive mentoring that will aid them not just through law school but will be beneficial for them as they commence their career after they would have successfully concluded their program.

The lucky winners are:

  1. Aminat Tijani – University of Ibadan
  2. Chidozie Chikwe – Rivers State University
  3. Blessing Egunjobi – University of Ibadan
  4. Oyindamola O. – Adekunle Ajasin University
  5. Golden Eze – Abia State University

In a statement issued by the donor, Mr. Davidson Oturu, he appreciated the efforts of the winners and those who encouraged him to take on the noble cause.

“I appreciate all the students that participated on this and I made several new friends in the process. I am hopeful that you all can make the future a much better place for those coming after you.

Also shoutout to my friend, brother and fellow King’s College alumni, the amazing Dr. Reginald Aziza, who had encouraged me on this several years ago and is still going strong in passing on the torch.

I also appreciate donors, who will not be named for personal reasons, who reached out and expressed their intention to be part of this. God will truly reward you for your labour of love.
